On Thursday, in the morning, at Runcorn, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC visited the Queensland State Archives to view historical documents in honour of Separation Day.

Following, at 1 William Street, His Excellency presided at a special meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception to celebrate Christmas, and the Governor addressed guests.
