On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, and then met students from St Thomas More’s Catholic Primary School, Toowoomba, who were touring Parliament House.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception for the Grand Priory of Australia of the Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem National Chapter.

Following, at the Lyric Theatre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Opera Queensland Opening Night performance of ‘Madama Butterfly’.
