On Thursday, in the afternoon, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Sydney for an official visit to Cairns.  

In the evening, at the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal, the Administrator, with Mrs de Jersey, attended and officially opened the 2016 Cairns Indigenous Art Fair and addressed guests.
