On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.

Following, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey received Dr Paul Mocanu, Consul-General of Romania in Sydney and Mrs Roxana Mocanu.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception in recognition of outstanding Queensland contributors where His Excellency addressed guests.
