On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted members of the Burnie Brae Centre visiting for a morning tea and guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an afternoon reception to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the establishment of the Crèche and Kindergarten Association where His Excellency addressed guests.
