On Sunday, in the morning, at Karumba Civic Centre, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended a community morning tea where the Governor addressed guests.
Following, at the Barramundi Discovery Centre, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey toured operations and met staff.
Following, at the Marine Safety Queensland Depot, Karumba, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey toured Volunteer Marine Rescue (VMR) Karumba facilities, met volunteers and received a briefing on VMR operations.
In the evening, at Ferryman River Cruises, Karumba, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey boarded a vessel and cruised down the Norman River, during which they received a briefing from local guides.
