On Saturday, in the morning, at United Service Club, Spring Hill, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC officially opened the Defence Reserves Association Queensland National Conference, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Government House for Regional Government House operations in Mount Isa.

Following at Mary Valley Showgrounds, Imbil, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the 100th Mary Valley Show, and the Governor officially opened the Show and addressed guests.

In the evening, at Redearth Hotel, Mount Isa, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception in support of the Mount Isa community, and the Governor addressed guests.
