On Friday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC visited the CPL (formerly known as Cerebral Palsy League) Capalaba Service to attend an Open Day and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, the Governor attended the Order of Australia Association, Queensland Branch, 2015 Secondary Schools Citizenship Awards Presentation, where the Governor presented Citizenship Awards to students and addressed guests.

Also, in the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Honourable Peter Wellington MP, Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie and Parliament House Sergeant-at-Arms, Mr Michael Watkin for the presentation of Bills for Assent.

In the evening, at the United Service Club, Queensland, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Club’s annual Patron’s Dinner and addressed guests.
