On Thursday, in the morning, at the Executive Building, George Street, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at the Queensland Tennis Centre, the Governor attended the Brisbane Girls Grammar School Annual Speech Day and delivered the Occasional Address.

In the evening, at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the opening night performance of “Gasp!” by the Queensland Theatre Company.
