On Tuesday, in the morning, at the Ville Resort-Casino, Townsville, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC was interviewed, via telephone, by Breakfast Presenter, ABC North Queensland, Mr Michael Clarke.

Following, at Jezzine House, Townsville, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Australia Day Official Party morning tea.

Following, at Jezzine Barracks, Townsville, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the Australia Day Flag Raising Ceremony, and the Governor received the Royal Salute, reviewed the Royal Guard of Honour and the Australian Army Band, and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey returned to Government House following official travel to Townsville.
