On Tuesday, in the afternoon, at Albert Street Uniting Church, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the funeral service for Reverend Raymond Hunt OBE.

In the evening, at the Port of Brisbane, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended a reception in celebration of the 241st anniversary of the Independence of the United States of America on-board the USS Ronald Reagan, where His Excellency addressed guests.
