On Thursday, in the morning, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC officially opened the 2017 Brisbane Truck Show and addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, the Governor greeted members of the Caloundra Garden Club visiting for morning tea and a tour of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Brisbane, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception in support of organisations with vice-regal patronage where His Excellency addressed guests.
