On Thursday, in the morning, at Jezzine Barracks, Townsville, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey: attended the Townsville City Council Citizenship Ceremony where the Governor addressed guests; attended the Australia Day Flag Raising Ceremony where the Governor addressed guests; and attended the Australia Day Awards Ceremony where the Governor joined the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier of Queensland, in presenting the Citizen of the Year Award to Mr Noel Price, before returning, in the afternoon, to Brisbane.
