On Wednesday, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a luncheon in honour of Queensland architects. Guests included: Mr Malcolm Middleton OAM; Ms Lindy Atkin; Dr Robert Riddel; Ms Catherine Baudet; Mr Robert Cottee; Mr Michael Keniger; Mr Michael Kennedy; Mr Paul Owen; Mr Kelvin Walsh; and Air Commodore Mark Gower OAM.

In the evening, at 480 Queen Street, Brisbane, the Governor, coinciding with the 170th anniversary of Allens, officially opened the new Allens offices and addressed guests.
