On Friday, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea in support of the IDEAS (Indigenous Diabetes, Eyes and Screening) Van Project where the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Government House, Mrs de Jersey and the Governor hosted a reception for Girl Guides Queensland for the presentation of the 2017 Queen’s Guide and Adult Awards where Mrs de Jersey addressed guests.
