On Thursday, in the morning, at Government, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception in support of the Queensland Police Service where the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at 1 William Street, Brisbane, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.

In the evening, at the Queensland Police Academy, Oxley, the Governor attended the National Police Remembrance Day Candlelight Vigil and laid the first wreath.
