On Friday, in the morning, at LifeFlight Brisbane Base, Brisbane Airport, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM visited the LifeFlight Brisbane Base, toured the facility and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted an afternoon reception for the Boys' Brigade and the Girls' Brigade Queen's Badges Awards 2021 and addressed guests and presented awards.

In the evening, at ABC Radio Brisbane, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo RFD attended the ABC Radio Community Spirit Awards, and Her Excellency addressed guests and presented awards.
