On Thursday, in the morning, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC officially opened the Royal Australasian Conference of Medical Administrators 2016 Annual Scientific Meeting.

Following, at C3 Church, Bridgeman Downs, the Governor attended the 2016 Guide Dogs Queensland Team Graduation Ceremony and addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, the Governor greeted members of the Inner Wheel Club of Brisbane West visiting Government House for morning tea and a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.

Following, at Government House, Mrs Kaye de Jersey greeted members of the Lyceum Club Brisbane – Art Circle visiting Government House for afternoon tea and a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the evening, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception to acknowledge Queensland’s trade and investment relationships where His Excellency addressed guests.
