On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea in celebration of Queensland’s Trade and Investment Program and the winners of the 2015 Premier of Queensland’s Trade Export Awards.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Commanding Officer, Naval Headquarters – South East Queensland, Commander Peter Tedman DSM, OAM, ADC, RAN; the Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Queensland, Dr Yongchen Zhao along with senior officers from People’s Liberation Army Navy Hospital Ship ‘Peace Ark’: Task Group Commander, Senior Captain Guan Bailin; Commanding Officer, Commander Gou Baofeng; and Foreign Affairs Officer, Commander Cao Lin.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception to celebrate Queensland Ballet’s London season of ‘La Sylphide’.
